Sack Back Windsor Chairs

The sack back Windsor chair is one of the classic American Windsor forms, similar in concept to the English double bow. Sack backs are inherently strong due to their design and also lend themselves well to special sizes and variations.

Each chair is handmade in my Somerset workshop using traditional chairmaking methods and carefully selected hardwoods.

Please note that I currently offer these chairs with ash components and either an ash or elm seat.
