Childs Windsor chair, this is based on a low back English design. The seat is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) high and the width of the seat between the front arm supports is 11 inches (28cm). This size should be suitable for children up to about 7 or 8 years old, by which time they will be able to use adult chairs. This example is made all in Ash wood with an antiqued stain, shellac and wax finish.
