English Style Windsor Chairs
Traditional English style Windsor chairs made from Ash, Oak, Beech and Elm wood.
English style high back carver, with pierced splat, curved arm supports and crinoline stretcher. This one is probably many people’s idea of a classic English Windsor Chair.
English style low back carver, with pierced back splat and crinoline stretcher. I have seen these called “Low Bow” or “Yeoman’s Bow” chairs. This example made of Ash, with an Elm seat, with a stain, shellac and hot wax antiqued finish.
